Friday...October 20, 2006...(continued)......We got home on Friday night and Johnny was feeling better so it must have been a 24-hr. Virus. Barbara continues to have a little headache and a little dizziness but no nausea. Early to bed.
Saturday.....OK, now this is getting ridiculous! Barbara woke up during the night and had to throw-up and was not feeling good. She tried to sleep in but didn't feel any better. So, I had her get dressed and I took her again to the emergency room. We went in and the doctor gave her some fluids, something for her headache and something for her nausea. BTW, the doctor was the same one that treated me a few days ago. We were there for a couple of hours and then came home. We tried to relax and Barbara slept a little. The OU game was good as they beat Colorado 24-3. Barbara decided to go to bed early as the anti-nausea meds makes her drowsy. We hope this will finally take care of the problem.
Sunday....Barbara was feeling better this morning so we all went to church. Phil Driscoll was there and it was a great service. For your information, Dan Shaffer, the pastor here in OKC for 37 years, announced his intention to retire at the end of the year. Phil Driscoll preached a good sermon on praise and worship. He also played a couple of numbers. His son also sang and played with him. At the end of the service, he brought out his ram's horn and played it.....tremendous! The service went long (for OKC standards) but it was worth it. After service, we went to Hometown Buffet. We stopped by Lee and Candy's home to check out their new pond and their new barn........really nice. We arrived late in the afternoon and Barbara started washing clothes as we started to load up the RV and car. We plan to leave in the morning but not too early. We are going to take out time getting home. Jo and Johnny went to church but we stayed at home because I didn't want Barbara to be up late tonight washing and drying clothes late. She almost finished them when Jo called and we met them at Mazio's for a bite to eat. We still made it home and got to bed early to get ready to leave tomorrow.
Monday......ON THE ROAD AGAIN.....We hooked up the can and left around 9am but stopped to dump our tanks before we went too far. I had to change out the sewer hose and the bracket broke. I had an extra so it didn't take too long. We left the RV park at 10:30am. We drove for several hours and arrived at Santa Rosa, NM for the night where we are now and I am updating my blog at our RV park.
Again........see you later.....Love you all,
